Notes:

I visited the National Palace Museum of Taiwan last November 23, 2007. From Academia Sinica, I took the Bus No. 620. After about 40 minutes, I took off at the bus stop after the tunnel and walked about 10 minutes to the National Palace Museum.

Directions: Via MRT - At the Jiantan or Shilin Station, take bus R30 to the National Palace Museum. Via Bus - Take bus 255 or 304 to the National Palace Museum.

Information: "The National Palace Museum occupies over 39,000 square museum meters. Its collection includes bronze, jade, and ceramic items dating from the Stone Age to the late Qing dynasty. Its exhibits cover old and new priceless artwork from China and the West." (Source: Department of Transportation, Taipei City Government)
